Anti-corruption crusader, Vitus Azeem, has expressed concern over what he describes as the slow pace of action by the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) in handling cases of alleged corruption, particularly the ongoing investigations involving former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta.
Speaking on Morning Starr with Naa Dedei on Starr 103.5FM on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, Mr. Azeem noted that the “Operation Recover All Loot” initiative has done little to boost public confidence.
“This whole ORAL operation has reduced the expectations of Ghanaians. People want to see real action,” he stated
He emphasized that Ghanaians are growing impatient and called on the OSP to act decisively.
“Swift action should be taken to prosecute all those involved,” he said.
Mr. Azeem also highlighted the importance of institutional cooperation to ensure credible outcomes in the fight against corruption.
“There is a need for more collaboration and cooperation. The Ken Ofori-Atta case is sensitive, every Ghanaian is interested in it,” he added.
According to him, instead of prolonged announcements and delayed investigations, the OSP must prioritize visible results to restore trust and demonstrate fairness in the administration of justice.
