Wanderlust Ghana has disclosed that plans are far advanced to embark on an incredible 30,000-kilometer journey through 30 countries.

During an interview on Starr Chat with Bola Ray and the Wanderlust Ghana team emphasized that the adventure, which is set to begin on September 30th, is slated to end on November 30th, and it promises to be an unforgettable exploration of varied cultures, landscapes, and experiences. “On the 30th of September, we are starting the 30,000-kilometer journey that will take us through 30 countries,” a member of the team confirmed.

Ghana’s Ministry of Tourism has provided critical support for this ambitious project. The team expressed gratitude for the ministry’s support. “None of this would have been possible without the Ministry of Tourism,” they explained that the collaboration began when they returned from a previous mission to London. They emphasized the involvement of the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) in planning the journey, stating, “We spoke. Then we did one trip around Ghana with the GTA. We called it from coast to culture.”

Some of the most famous cities in the world are included in their itinerary of noteworthy places to see. “Paris, the city of love,” they mentioned, be stating the financial limitation, , “We will be spending just one day in Paris because we have a timetable we must meet.” They hinted on stopping in Iraq for a very interesting visit. “We are going through Iraq,” the team said, highlighting their desire to visit Tikrit, the resting place of Saddam Hussein.

During the interview, questions about safety surfaced, but the team seemed unconcerned. “When you’re on the road, the adrenaline doesn’t allow you to feel anything,” they explained, demonstrating their determination and spirit of adventure. “The desire to see keeps us going.”

One important aspects of this journey is marketing Ghana on a worldwide scale. The expedition is being conducted under the “Visit Ghana” campaign, supported by a Ghanaian-developed app called Pebble. “We decided we wanted to sell Ghana we took a wholly built Ghanaian app. It’s called Pebble,” they said, urging audiences to follow their journey through the app. They stressed that Pebble provides top-notch information, such as cultural exposés and festivals from all throughout Ghana, so that people who are unable to go can be informed. “Try Pebble on App Store or Play Store; it’s all there,” they encouraged.
