Uganda Cranes coach Mulitin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has revealed he will field a strong side against Mali on Wednesday.

The Cranes lost 1-0 to Ghana and Egypt in their two games so far and are officially out of the competition and most pundits had predicted a much changed line-up from the Serb to give chances to players yet to play.

However, in a press conference held in Bitam, Oyem North of Gabon, Micho said this was no time for experiments.

“In respect to the fans and the strong desire to finish tournament with head high, we shall field a very strong team,” said Micho. “There is no time to experiment at this level and the players who won’t feature have a chance for experiment in the two international friendlies we shall organize after the tournament.

For the match against Mali, the former Rwanda coach has said the team will consolidate what they achieved in the first two games and correct the mistakes that led to the losses.

Uganda remains the only team at the ongoing AFCON tournament without a point and a goal.
