The Electoral Commission is today opening nominations for the election of regional representatives to the Council of State.
To be eligible to contest the poll, applicants must be Ghanaians of sound mind, be eligible to contest, and be native to or resident in the regions they seek to represent.
A statement issued by the EC said the Electoral Management Body will begin receiving the filled nomination forms between January 20 and 26 and elections held on February 9.
