The maiden edition which took place in April 2016, focused on the theme “Getting the Basics Right as A Young Female Entrepreneur” with stakeholders elaborating on issues relating to women empowerment.

The Starr Woman Project 2017 which is under the theme ‘Dare to Stand Out’ will be hosted in Accra, Kumasi and Takoradi.
Host of the zone and maiden host of the Starr Woman project, Naa Ashorkor told Anita Erskine in a phone conversation on Starr drive that the project started from a simple conversation with colleagues on the zone and became a huge event touching the lives of women entrepreneurs.
“Well it all started as a simple conversation with my colleagues, David, Mono and Miriam on the Zone. We wanted to come up with a project that will enable women succeed as entrepreneurs by living their dreams and I’m glad this project has come this far to stay and it keeps growing bigger and better every step of the way”.
Taking over as the new face of the project, Anita Erskine, expressed her excitement and assured to deliver her very best.
“I am very excited and grateful for the support and all, I’m glad Access Bank is on board to support the Starr Woman Project and we look forward to a great partnership”.
