Hong-Kong based smartphone manufacturer, Infinix, has launched the world’s first ever wefie smartphone, Infinix S2 Pro, a successor to the Infinix Hot S.
Wefie, unlike selfie, allows group photographs which captures each individual in the group without using a selfie stick.
Infinix S2 features a 13.0-megapixel rear camera, with a dual tone LED flash and dual front cameras, one of which comes with 13.0 megapixels whereas the other comes with an ultra-wide angle of 135° and 8.0 megapixels.
The smartphone comes with a 2.5D dragon tail glass screen and a fingerprint recognition area on the back which also supports other finger-print based apps with a 3GB of RAM.
Speaking to the Media, Country Manager Kimo Cai stated that: “there are three variants of phones – the power users, the professional users and the Lifestyle. Infinix S2 Pro, falls under the lifestyle category, that is, for the fashionable people, therefore for those who are the power users, meaning, people who use their phones a lot, it is advisable to go for the Note Series because that comes with bigger batteries.”
The Infinix S2 Pro comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow with XOS and is powered by a 3000mAh battery.
The S2 Pro is live on Jumia Ghana and is being retailed at GHC 662.00 (USD158.57).
