The Ghana Shooting Federation has acquired a new scoring electronic system to support the training of its snipers ahead of this year’s Commonwealth Games in Australia.
Ghana’s Black Snipers will be represented at the multi sports by Mercy Chodo, Korley Appiah in the female and male categories respectively.
The two are currently training at the Teshie Military Shooting Range and the President of the Federation, Cilian George Walsh, believes the arrival of the new equipment will make an impact in Australia.
“The new system of scoring takes so many factors in consideration and helps in training all hours of the day with precision. With no doubt my snipers will surely win medals in Gold Coast”, George Walsh told Starr Sports.
