Liberty Professional’s defender Samuel Sarfo has completed an 18-month deal with Iranian giants Saipa FC.
Sarfo was on the verge of joining Ghanaian giants Kumasi Asante Kotoko or Ivorian side Asec Mimosa but the two deals fell through after both parties failed to reach an agreement.
The former Liberty Libero who was an influential member of the Black Stars B side that won the 2017 WAFU Nations Cup was reported to have been closely monitored by clubs in North Africa and Oman but Saipa have gazumped all suitors for the signature of the Ghanaian.
