There is a looming hunger at Achiase Senior High School as most food items supplied to the School have been destroyed by a rainstorm Saturday.

The storm ripped off the roof of the school’s storeroom, dining hall and the Computer laboratory.

School authorities are currently struggling to feed final year boarding students who are preparing to write the WASCE.

DCE of the area, Richmond Kofi Ampomah who visited the school told Starr News the situation requires urgent government intervention before stocks finally run out in the next few days.

“The situation is devastating hence need urgent government intervention before stock runs out in the next few days. Meanwhile,the Assembly is collaborating with the Management of the School  in the interim  to feed the students.

Officials of the National Disaster Management Organization(NADMO) and the District Chief Executive for the area, Richmond Kofi Ampomah have visited the school.
