The Physician assistant who was remanded following the death of some four people at the Senchi Health Centre at Asuagyaman has been granted bail by the Koforidua High Court.
The four individuals died at the health post after they were injected with contaminated penicillin.
The Somanya Magistrate Court remanded Simon Tarkrama, 42, and one James Yeboah, a 65-year-old retired field technician at New Senchi Health Centre (Disease Control Unit) in connection with the incident.
According to Starr News’ Eastern regional correspondent Kojo Ansah, the prosecution did not oppose the bail application filed by the defense counsel Musah Sulemana in the court hearing heavily attended by physician assistants.
Meanwhile, The association of physician assistants who declared their first ever strike Tuesday has called off the strike after their colleague was granted bail.
