A famous singer once sang “This is a man’s world, but without a woman or a girl there wouldn’t be a man” and it was a hit. For many years now there has been a debate about which sex is more superior or more powerful or more significant than the other and I can tell you that 2018, we’re still far from being over. We have, however, come a long way, we have seen movements birthed in these circumstances and feminism is an example of one such a movement.
Whether we like it or not, there are just some things in life we cannot control or change even if we tried. We could argue over them yes, perhaps question them as well but they will remain mysteries because they are beyond human comprehension or understanding, just like the law of nature.
When something is a law of nature it should tell you that it was not invented by humans and therefore will not or cannot be controlled by humans. Even if we were to tamper with such scenarios, we often cause more harm than good. Therefore, when nature presents us with a specific order i.e. life cycle, it is best we embrace it. When we fiddle with the embedded laws of nature, the results are damning.
A lot of chaos in the world today is as a result of a malfunctioning system, in other words lack of order. For any system to function in order, each part needs to play its significant role. Nature has a large influence in the order of our gigantic world, the sooner humans are receptive of this, the better. I believe much can be achieved if we use our skills to work with nature as opposed to against it. While the law of nature is in itself is a broad subject, on this series I choose to focus partly on the Man and the Woman.
The man is the sower, he is the giver, the seed giver to be more specific. No matter how a man were to fight or argue about his make-up, he cannot help himself neither can he change this fact about himself. The man had no say in it to begin with, and therefore has no control over it. According to the law of nature, one of the main or rather core functions of a man/male is to give seed/s. To release or to part with his substance. The receptor of this seed is the woman, because the Woman is designed to not only receive the seed from a man/male, but has also been given a quality to reproduce that seed.
Does this mean that the other is superior to another? No, for the seed on its own cannot do much neither can there be reproduction without a seed. The roles are therefore both important and of equal value, which is why I could never understand the injustice of gender inequality, which I believe is just a misinterpretation or a case of mistaken identity. Anyway, that is a subject for another day.
How is the man an investor? Because he has been formed/built to give out seeds, the man is naturally loaded with these already. This seed could be in the form of sperm (which is the most common one), or in the form of substance i.e. money, words, work, etc. The woman is also formed/built or designed to receive the seed/s from a man and furthermore has the natural ability to reproduce that seed. Thus making her an asset.
When a man gives or deposits his seed in the form of a sperm into a woman, what should happen under normal circumstances is that the woman will first of all receive the semen and then secondly, a natural process of reproduction or rather procreation in this case will begin to take place, and in the space of nine months a life/baby will come forth as an end result. Similarly in a different context, when a man gives his seed in the form of money to a woman, once the money is in her hands, she has the ability to increase or reproduce that money. For example, the woman can either turn that cash into a property, a meal, a business, or just let it be many more cash notes.
Unfortunately, the opposite is also true which is why we need to be careful the energy we exchange amongst ourselves. A woman who receives good/love is likely to bring forth good and love, likewise a woman who receives evil/hate is likely to bring forth the very same contempt. This is a life cycle and therefore continues for as long as a man and a woman exists.
The man and the woman cannot successfully live independently of each other, otherwise the cycle becomes disrupted. In this case I think it’s safe to say or rather it makes sense that a man and woman each function in his/her role without questioning “why was I made like this” or trying to prove to the other that one gender is more superior than another. Instead, let each embrace who and what we are and use it to achieve maximum results in life.
I am highly convinced that for us to see drastic improvement in society today, we genuinely need to accept that with coexist and that our cohesion is more beneficial than the segregation we have created. When women start inviting men to their seminars about men we will achieve results in some of our issues with men and vice versa. My friend Thandi Domingo says every man was raised by a woman and so we cannot speak of men issues and expect the woman and if we are all part of the problem then we all ought to be part of the solution and like Thandi I believe in an inclusive system.
Let’s endeavour to do away with demarcations that were set even before we were born . The borders of patriarchy of race ; ethnicity; religion, social class etc. If we dream of a better world we must begin doing better ourselves.
