The Ministry of Information is to hold the first ever regional hall meeting in the Volta Regional capital, Ho.
The regional hall meeting is aimed at showcasing to the public in the region the government’s developmental projects across the region.
The meeting scheduled for Friday, June 28 will provide several Metropolitan District Chief Executives in the region an opportunity to present to the general public and the regional Minister, Dr Archibald Letsa their performances.
They are expected to exhibit and present various developmental initiatives achieved in their various jurisdiction since the NPP government assumed office on January 1, 2017.
The Director Policy Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation at the Ministry of Information, Mrs Patricia Dovi Sampson made this known during a Press engagement in Ho.
She said the meeting is also to engage various stakeholders and the general public on government’s various programmes and policies as well as to take feedback on the performances of the MDCEs.
Other government Institutions including, Ministry of Health, Gender, NABCO Directorate, Ministry of Education, National Youth Authority among some key others will speak on the theme: “Government Provisions on social services and investment into human factor”.
