Albert Nii Amartey Armah, the business manager for highlife star – Kwabena Kwabena and a key figure in the Ghanaian music industry, has announced plans to host a capacity-building workshop for emerging artists.
This workshop aligns with his vision of equipping new artists in the country with essential skills to navigate the music industry successfully. His initiative is inspired by his extensive business collaborations with industry professionals both within and outside of Ghana.
While the exact date and venue are yet to be confirmed, Albert mentioned that the workshop is likely to be held in Cape Coast or Takoradi.
“The workshop will expose new artists to diverse opportunities available to them while gaining a deep insight into the music landscape in Ghana and other countries,” Albert stated.
He emphasized that the upcoming music workshop will help stakeholders adopt strategies to propel Ghanaian music onto the global stage.
The workshop will feature some of Ghana’s most seasoned music personalities, who will share their knowledge, principles, and experiences from their years in the industry.
Topics to be covered at the workshop include the fundamentals of music production, show business, artist and media relations, music distribution, promotion, and marketing, among others.
