Promising Ghanaian versatile artiste Broni says he has to be set free to impact immensely with his craft in a new release dubbed ‘Free’.
‘Free’ written by Broni, states how the young artiste aspires to surround himself with positive mindsets and away from things and people who will distract his self-determination and ability to excel.
In the chorus of the song he sang “I want to be free, I don’t want bad energies, I want to be me “

Born Kelvin Nana Kwame Appiah, Broni, is a Ghanaian highlife, afrobeat – afro-pop singer-songwriter from Akyem Oda, Eastern Region of Ghana, who has been able to find a unique balance with his music and sweet vocal strength fusing Ghanaian and African sounds with an international appeal.
He is known for popular songs like ‘ Ekomedeme’ which featured Sarkodie, and other songs like Wedding, Juju juice, Galala, Flexing, Orijinal, Memphis Depay.
His name Broni which is also his last name was derived from Twi, a local Ghanaian tongue ‘Oburoni’ which means ‘Foreigner’ literally defined as ‘those who come from the horizon.
Broni, signed unto the Global Giant Entertainment is also known as Sound Man, prefers to categorize the genre of music he does as ‘AfroWorld’, which is his Ghanaian African sound with an international appeal. He is known for genres like Afro Pop, Afrobeat, Highlife, Reggae dancehall and RnB.
He plays other musical instruments like Drums, keyboard, saxophone, acoustic.
