“This shouldn’t be seen as an achievement on paper but your work being recognized to meet international standards. TFF is qualified because it works in the standards which are globally accepted in the ISO standards in Quality Management Systems.”
“Companies who get these standardizations are able to satisfy their costumers, they are able to prevent accidents. The moment you do this you win credibility in the face of your customers” he added.
According to the Chairman of the ceremony, Mr Yaw Okyere and Group HR Manager of CH Group, the mother company TTF and Chase Logistics, TTF was able to meet the ISO standards after a thorough audit and training sessions.
He said “ISO has standards the firm has to meet, they gave us the requirement list of things to provide for them, they verified the documents, they had sessions with us, where we had to answer questions to satisfy, whatever issues they had. And then after all this, they went back and did their own assessments and decided to certify TTF certifications. As the leading private depot in Ghana it is only right and appropriate that we work towards international standards to build our potential, but more importantly, to meet and exceed the needs and expectations of our customers to keep us in business.
“So that after the three years, we’ll be able to retain this position and also pursue other international certifications that will make us the leading depot not just in Ghana, but we must aspire to the African level. So there’s a lot of work to be done ahead of us.”
