Director of Cooperation at Business France, an agency responsible for international partnerships, Philippe Yvergniaux has expressed worry over low interest of Ghanaian businesses in French entities.

He spoke to Ghanaian journalists when the visited the entity in Paris.

In his explanation, Mr Yvergniaux said a partnership with Ghana will be to the advantage of both countries.

He stated that Ghanaian investment in French companies is poorly low as cultural barrier remains a major challenge.

However, he added that a collaboration with the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA) and the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) has been a positive venture.

In the field of Arts, Culture and entertainment, Yvergniaux, said it is next in line on the agency’s to do list as it has become a major income earner.

Philippe Yvergniaux made these observations when a group selected Ghanaian journalists paid a visit to the Business France Office on Paris under the French Ghana relations program.
