Former President John Mahama says Ghana’s senior national team the Black Stars will make Ghana proud with their encounter with Brazil on Friday.
The Black Stars will be playing in a friendly encounter with the Brazilian national team on September 23, 2022.
The encounter is ahead of the Qatar World Cup 2022.
In a Facebook post prior to the match, the former President indicated that the Blacks Stars play best as underdogs.
“Soccer matches between Ghana and Brazil are always exciting to watch. In today’s friendly at the senior level, the odds seem to favour the Brazilians, but I trust our gallant team, the Black Stars,” he stated.
He added that “They play best as underdogs, they will rise to the occasion and make us proud.”
