The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) is expected to elect their flag bearer on November 4, 2023 across the country ahead of the 2024 election.
In all 204,144 delegates are expected to cast their votes which consist of polling station executives in 38,622 polling stations among others.
Speaking on Starr FM midday news with Naa Dedei Tettey Friday, the Director of Elections for the NPP, Evans Nimako explained that as part of the list of voters are Electoral Area Coordinators in all the 6,272 electoral areas.
“We also have our external branch 12 from each of the 27 branches, we have our national council members, national executive committee members. We have our Members of Parliament, Ministers, Regional Ministers and our Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs).
“The Council of Elders and Patrons are coming with 15 delegates each, accredited TESCON institutions across the country. They will be voting in the constituencies where they are located and our regional executives have also been allocated to constituencies within the region.
“So in all as I mentioned a total of 204,144 people will cast their votes on Saturday November 4, 2023,” Mr. Nimko stated.
