The European Ambassador to Ghana H.E Irchad Razaaly has been named the Grand Mentor for the recently-launched ‘Entrepreneurship With Bola Ray‘ startup empowerment initiative.

The groundbreaking program put together by EIB Network CEO Bola Ray in partnership with the European Union in Ghana was outdoored in December last year.

The mentorship program will see twenty-five (25) young startup owners being mentored by some twelve (12) established business moguls selected from across Africa.

Razaaly will lead the charge even as the other esteemed mentors play a pivotal role in seeing the program to a successful end.

Speaking at the launch, he intimated “First and foremost, the first moment Bola told me about it, I did not hesitate because it makes sense for the youth and the EU because the number one job of the EU here in Ghana is to support job and growth creation.”

“So the moment I was asked to commit to supporting young entrepreneurs, I did not hesitate. We are already supporting a lot in the field of youth entrepreneurship in the Central region, Ashanti region, and Northern regions because job creation and youth unemployment is a key challenge of this country. “
