Pius Hadzide, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for Asuogyaman, made a pledge to his supporters that if he is elected to parliament, he would make it easier for young people to travel overseas. While speaking to his constituents, Mr. Hadzide expressed his dedication to helping young people find better jobs overseas, especially in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, and France.
“If you’re in your youth and you’d like to travel to Germany, USA, UK, France, wherever you’d like to travel, I am a man of my word,” Mr. Hadzide assured.
Mr. Hadzide emphasised his prior contributions to assisting people with their travel plans. “When you’re going on a trip from Ghana to Australia, you’ll sit in the aeroplane for 18 hours. Even with that, people were able to follow me there,” he recalled, establishing himself as someone capable of fulfilling such international opportunities.
Mr. Hadzide’s campaign presented his victory as a means to better possibilities for the youth, with a clear emphasis on expanding opportunities for international travel and work. “If you want your children to go to the US to make a living and bring money home, then vote for me,” he urged.
Given that the next World Cup would be held in the US, Mr. Hadzide emphasised the benefit of the quicker journey time, saying, “It is a 7-hour flight.” He cited this as another illustration of the potential opportunities for Asuogyaman’s youth if he were granted the mandate.
