The flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, claims that his government has done better in terms of infrastructural development than the other government in the 4th Republic.
During the Municipal Assembly’s commissioning at the Asogli Traditional Council, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia declared that their government had outperformed all others in the 4th Republic in terms of infrastructure development.
Dr. Bawumia said, “I’m sure you will all agree with me that when you compare how the assembly building was before and what it is today that we are going to commission, everybody will agree that this is an upgrade”.
“We, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo’s government, have done so much in the area of infrastructure development across the country. And the philosophy that we have applied in putting infrastructure in place is to make sure there is an equitable distribution across the region”, he added.
Dr. Bawumia mentioned, “Our government in the area of infrastructure is second to none in the Fourth Republic. Whether you are talking about roads, whether you’re talking about schools, hospitals, courts, AstroTurf’s, public libraries, fish landing sites, and DRIP projects, district road improvement projects”.
“There’s no comparison with any government in the Fourth Republic. We have exceeded the record of any government in any of these areas”, he concluded.
