Dancehall king, Shatta Wale, has called on industry players and colleague acts to support upcoming artists.
Speaking to Giovani and Anita Erskine on Starr Drive ahead of Starr FM’s biggest outdoor event S-Concert, the ‘taking hitmaker maker said there is the need to encourage and support upcoming artistes with events like the S-Concert.
“Just as we are making it big as big acts, we need to encourage and support these up and coming artistes and with events like the S-Concert, they get to showcase their talents out there for the whole world to see what they have in them. So I was very excited that Starr FM signed on many of these upcoming acts like Kidi, Kuami Eugene among others for the Neon edition of the S-Concert and I will encourage others to do same for our young brothers and sisters”.
Shatta Wale assured his fans of a non-stop excitement Friday, December 1 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
“Tomorrow’s energy at the S-Concert will be something else, just like I have been doing over the years, it will be worth attending”.
Over 50 mainstream and upcoming musicians have signed up to perform at this year’s S-Concert.
