Four time African footballer of the year and current Cameroon football federation President, Samuel Eto’o has revealed his greatest players the continent has provided.
According to the former attacker, the continent has produced many talents which only makes it difficult for one to choose a top 5 from.
Speaking exclusively to GhOne TV, the former Inter Milan attacker revealed fellow country man, Roger Milla, former Ballon d’Or winner George Weah and three time African best, Abedi Pele are top on the list. He further went on to add Adebayor, Michael Essien, Jay jay Okocha, Drogba among others.
“In the first position, I have three names. It’s difficult to make a choice. I have Roger Milla, George Weah, Abedi Pele. When I was a child, these three big names were incredible. Apart from that, there’s Adebayor, Yaya Toure, Drogba, Michael Essien. We have a lot of names”, he revealed.
Samuel Eto’o is in Ghana together with Supreme Committee and Legacy delegation for a two day visit as Qatar Legacy Ambassador to engage with the Football Federation, football supporters and media.
