The Chief of Staff, Akosua Frema Osei-Opare has urged Ghanaians to unite behind the government as it takes steps to resolve the country’s economic challenges.
In a Christmas message, she assured Ghanaians that the coming year will bring enormous socioeconomic growth.
The Chief of Staff said, “We all acknowledge that the year 2022 has been a challenging one. However, by the Grace of God and the able leadership of the President of the Republic H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the entire government machinery, the nation is already getting back on track.”
“I am of the firm conviction that the ensuing year 2023, will bring Ghana enormous socio-economic growth as we remain united.”
She urged all Ghanaians to give generously to the needy in the various communities “as we mark this festive season”.

Meanwhile, President Akufo-Addo in his Christmas address said Ghana has begun to witness some positive gains which is a clear indication that things will get better.
President Akufo-Addo gave assurances that the economy will fully bounce back after going through the recent challenges.
“Over the last three years we have been confronted with our own captivity in Babylon moments. We had to ride turbulent storms and we were faced with the unknown,” President Akufo-Addo said.
“I am happy that in spite of it all, we are beginning to emerge out of the difficulties which encourages me to say that with hard work, dedication and continued prudence in the management of the affairs of our nation, we will rise up again,” the President said.
He called on Ghanaians to live responsibly and extend support to the needy and poor.
“I urge all of us, to celebrate the season safely and responsibly, if you are in a more fortunate position, remember to lend a helping hand to those who are in need, let each one of us do our bit to help feed those who are hungry and offer comfort to those who are in distress,” President Akufo-Addo added.
