The flag bearer of the People’s National Convention (PNC), Bernard Mornah says his party will fight any disqualification with their blood by the Electoral Commission (EC) ahead of the impending 2024 Presidential Election.

This comes on the back of EC disqualifying PNC’s Bernard Mornah, the People’s National Party (PNP) Janet Nabla, and other nine aspirants.

A statement issued by the electoral governing body on Friday, September 20, 2024, also mentioned Nana Stephens Adjepong, Paul Perkoh, James Kwesi Oppong, John Enyonam Kwakwu Kpikpi, Dr Samuel Sampong Ankrah, and Nii Amu Darko among candidates disqualified.

The rest are Samuel Apea-Danquah, Desmond Abrefah, and Kofi Asamoah Siaw (Progressive People’s Party).

However, speaking on Starr FM midday news with Naa Dedei Tettey, Mr. Mornah stated that he has met all the requirements by the EC.

“People have invested their minds into this knowing very well that my leadership of this country will poteen for our future. You don’t just come to ditch them anyhow. In the most bizarre and hazardous manner, most unprofessional, has the Electoral Commission got a final voters register?

“So if the EC itself does not have a final register, they expect us to do what? How do you accept nominations before a compilation of a final register, how do you do that?

“This is not an issue to toy with and I can assure you we will push it to the last limit, we will use our blood to fight this”, the PNC flag bearer stated.
