Black Stars head coach Otto Addo believes Ghana holds its destiny in its own hands as they prepare for a crucial 2026 World Cup qualifier against Chad.
Ahead of the match, Addo voiced confidence in his squad’s ability to determine their own path, drawing motivation from a strong team spirit and a vital previous win.
“Surely I am the head coach of the Black Stars but it is not only on me it is not only on me but surely I understand the pressure. We are in a good position this is also what the players did themselves they beat Mali away so this was crucial to come back to the top position and now we have our destiny in our own hands,” Addo shared during the pre-game press conference.
“This is very important and very good for us this is very positive and again I want to thank you for this positive environment the players when they came they really feel welcome and everybody can feel the energy which is coming from outside which is very important for the players. I am sure we will deliver I can’t call myself as an expert in this or that I always want to win,” he added.
The Black Stars wrapped up their final preparations today at the Accra Sports Stadium, where they are set to face Chad tomorrow, Friday, March 21st, at 19:00 GMT.
