A first year student of Koforidua Technical University (KTU) Rose Asante has died after sustaining life threatening injuries in a domestic gas fire outbreak .
Two other victims are currently battling for their lives at the Eastern Regional Hospital.
Starr News has gathered that, there was gas leakage in the house where they live unfortunately while the source of the leakage was being traced,a woman unknowingly ignited a match sparking the fire outbreak.
Three persons including Rose Asante sustained varied injuries and were rushed to the Eastern Regional Hospital, however, Rose, an HND Purchasing and Supply student succumbed to her injuries.
A candle vigil night has been observed on campus to commiserate her.
