A 52-year-old tailor, Felix Amanor, has been found dead under mysterious circumstances at Dominion City near the Pantoase suburb of the New Juaben South Municipality in the Eastern Region.
The deceased was discovered naked on a street in the community on Sunday morning after allegedly being attacked and killed by unknown assailants.
According to family members, Mr. Amanor left his residence at Blue Street near Adweso on Saturday evening after watching the Canada versus Morocco football match.
He reportedly returned home briefly, changed his clothes, and went out again but never came back.
Residents of Dominion City woke up on Sunday to find the lifeless body of an unidentified man lying on the street.
The body was later identified as that of Felix Amanor.
The deceased’s father, Godfred Amanor, said the incident was reported to the Adweso District Police Command.
Police officers visited the scene, documented evidence, and conveyed the body to the morgue at St. Joseph’s Hospital, where an autopsy is expected to determine the cause of death.
Sources close to the investigation indicated that some visible signs bruises were noticed at the back of his kneck
Police reportedly recovered the deceased’s clothes and the keys to his tailoring shop a short distance from where the body was found.

The tragic news drew family members, friends, neighbours, and customers to the deceased’s residence to mourn his passing.
Felix Amanor was widely described by residents as a peaceful and hardworking member of the community.
He leaves behind two children ages 6 and 2 years, and a wife who is reportedly ill with stroke.
Police have commenced investigations into the incident to identify and apprehend those responsible.
No arrests have been made so far.
