NDC activist Okai Mintah has formally informed Ghana’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Sabah Zita Benson, of his intention to contest the position of National Youth Organiser of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Mr Mintah disclosed this in a Facebook post following a meeting with the High Commissioner at her residence in London.
He said the meeting provided an opportunity for discussions on matters of mutual interest and the continued progress of the NDC.
Mr Mintah said he also used the occasion to formally share his intention to contest the National Youth Organiser position and sought the High Commissioner’s “blessings and support” as he pursues his bid.
He expressed appreciation to Ms Benson for hosting him and for the warm reception during the meeting.
