appsNmobile Solutions Limited, in collaboration with the Accra Diamond Lions Club, inaugurated a newly refurbished Female Ward 2 of the Accra Psychiatric Hospital on March 8, 2017.
On its second anniversary, the company provided part sponsorship to the Accra Diamond Lions Club to complete renovation works at the Female Ward 2.
The works involved, refurbishment of the nurses’ working space part of which also serves as dining area for patients, and the seclusion room by lining the walls with foam and leather to avoid injury to aggressive or agitated patients. In addition, the entire Female Ward 2 compound was painted.
The Director of the Hospital, Dr. Pinaman Apau, was very grateful at the kind gesture and promised to maintain the beauty of the place.
Commenting on the project, the CEO of appsNmobile Solutions Ltd, Mr. Richard Bansah, said the project was part of the Company’s corporate social responsibility to solidify and increase its interaction with society and surrounding communities.
He further said the Lions Club is an ideal partner in undertaking such benevolent activities because the Lions are always scoping and looking around to see where they can serve.
As a result, he thought a good relationship between the Lions Club and corporate Ghana will lead to a greater footprint in serving the needy and underprivileged in our society. He is therefore optimistic about continuing such a partnership.
