Head coach of the Black Starlets, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, says his team is fully focused and determined to grab all three points in their crunch clash against Ivory Coast at the ongoing WAFU B U-17 Championship.
Ghana’s U-17 side will face the tournament hosts on Tuesday evening at the Charles Konan Banny Stadium, with both nations eyeing victory to boost their chances of progressing to the knockout stage.
Speaking to the press ahead of the encounter, Dr. Ogum expressed confidence in his players’ readiness and spirit.
“We are more than ready for the Ivory Coast encounter, considering the body language of the players. They are in high spirits, very focused, and determined to secure the three points,” he said.
The Black Starlets began their campaign with a 1-1 draw against Togo on Saturday in Yamoussoukro. A win over Ivory Coast will place Ghana in a stronger position to qualify from the group.
