The leadership of the Dansoman Keep Fit Club (DKFC) has paid a courtesy visit to the Minister for Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams, as part of efforts to strengthen the club’s relationship with the Ministry.
The delegation, led by DKFC Vice Chairman Rat Laud Thompson, included the club’s Secretary, Rat Viktor Vanderpuije; Public Relations Officer, Rat Isaac Yaotey Ako Jnr.; and Men’s Organiser, Rat Kamar Lat.
The visit was aimed at formally welcoming Mr Adams to his role as Minister, introducing the current leadership of DKFC and reinforcing the longstanding relationship between the club and the Ministry of Sports and Recreation.

Discussions during the meeting focused on possible support from the Ministry for the club’s 2026 Great Walk and Accra Marathon.
The two sides also discussed the protection of the Dansoman Keep Fit Club grounds, as well as other infrastructure support for the club.

The Minister welcomed the delegation and expressed his commitment to supporting DKFC and strengthening collaboration between the club and the Ministry.
The meeting forms part of DKFC’s efforts to engage relevant stakeholders in advancing its activities and securing support for initiatives aimed at promoting fitness and sports participation.
