Early this morning, a serious road accident occurred on the Bolga-Tumu highway in the Upper East Region, involving Education Minister Haruna Iddrisu and Deputy Communications Minister Mohammed Adams Sukparu.
Both officials were travelling for official duties when their vehicle was involved in the crash.
According to sources, the ministers sustained minor injuries and are currently in stable condition.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the accident, while health officials continue to monitor the ministers’ recovery.
No other casualties have been reported.
