Renowned journalist and EIB Network broadcaster Serwaa Amihere, marked her birthday with a special act of kindness as she partnered with Flora Kids Baby Diapers to donate essential baby care products to new mothers at Tema General Hospital’s Maternity Block.

The donation, which coincided with International Women’s Day, was aimed at supporting mothers and newborns while also introducing the hospital to Flora Kids Baby Diapers, a brand committed to providing quality and comfort for infants.
During the presentation, Serwaa Amihere, speaking on behalf of Delta Paper Mills, expressed the brand’s dedication to maternal and child health.

“So on behalf of Delta Paper Mills, we present you and the ward Flora Kids Baby Diapers, among many other things that we’ve got for you. But this is what we are here to let you know about today so that you let your people try it any time they come here,” she said.
The initiative was warmly received by the hospital staff and beneficiaries, who appreciated the support for new mothers. The donation further highlights Flora Kids Baby Diapers’ commitment to making a positive impact in maternal healthcare.
For Serwaa Amihere, this gesture was more than a donation, it was a way to celebrate her birthday by giving back to society, especially to women and children. The event also reinforced the significance of International Women’s Day, emphasizing the importance of supporting and uplifting mothers.
