Innovation, collaboration, and digital transformation took center stage at the 2026 GIMPA Tech Fair and Industry Showcase as students, industry leaders, policymakers, and technology enthusiasts gathered at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) to explore the future of technology in Ghana.

Held under the theme “Innovating for Impact: Technology Solutions for Ghana’s Future,” the event showcased emerging ideas, practical innovations and the growing role of technology in shaping national development.

As a major partner of the Tech Fair, Samsung used the platform to introduce its new 2026 Galaxy A Series smartphones, aligning with its global campaign message, “Awesome is for Everyone.” The company also set up the GIMPA Digital Hub, an interactive space whereparticipants could engage directly with Samsung’s latest devices and smart technologies.

The partnership reflected a shared commitment between academia and industry to promote digital inclusion, innovation, and technology-driven learning in Ghana.

The GIMPA Tech Fair has steadily evolved into an important platform for connecting academia with industry leaders, innovators, and policymakers. This year’s edition brought together experts from technology, government, and education to discuss how digital innovation can help solve real challenges facing Ghana and Africa.

Samsung’s participation added practical depth to the event by demonstrating how accessible technology can support education, entrepreneurship, and creativity among young people.

For many attendees, the partnership symbolized the growing importance of collaboration between educational institutions and global technology brands in preparing students for the future of work.

At a time when artificial intelligence, mobile technology, and digital platforms are rapidly transforming industries, exposure to practical technological experiences has become increasingly important for students and young innovators.

Samsung’s involvement, therefore went beyond product visibility. It became an opportunity to inspire the next generation of creators, developers, and entrepreneurs.

Introducing the 2026 Galaxy A Series

One of the highlights of the Tech Fair was Samsung’s showcase of the new 2026 Galaxy A Series devices. The new Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G, the latest Galaxy A series devices, bring Samsung’s newest mobile innovations — including enriched Awesome Intelligence — to more users worldwide.

The latest Galaxy A series reflects Samsung’s commitment to expanding AI capabilities across more devices and empowering more users to harness the power of intuitive AI that simplifies everyday tasks.

The showcase attracted significant attention from students, content creators, and technology enthusiasts eager to test the devices’ capabilities.

Attendees explored how smartphones are increasingly becoming tools for productivity, learning, content creation and entrepreneurship.

The GIMPA Digital Hub Experience

Beyond the Galaxy A Series showcase, Samsung created one of the event’s most engaging attractions through the establishment of the GIMPA Digital Hub.

The Digital Hub served as an experiential technology space where attendees interacted with a range of Samsung devices and connected technologies in a practical setting. The setup transformed the traditional exhibition experience into an interactive environment focused on exploration, creativity, and learning.

Students and visitors moved through different experience zones, testing devices designed for education, entertainment, business, and digital collaboration. The hub also became a networking space where innovators and technology enthusiasts exchanged ideas and explored opportunities for collaboration.

For Samsung, the partnership strengthened its connection with Ghana’s youthful and tech-driven audience while positioning the Galaxy A Series as a smartphone line designed for everyday innovation and creativity.
