God has ordained me President – Kofi Akpaloo

Kofi Akpaloo, founder and flagbearer of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), has made spirited declarations about his destiny as Ghana’s next president.

Mr. Akpaloo made the emphatic statements in an interview with Julius Caesar Anadem on the Ultimate Breakfast Show where he discussed his divine conviction to policy plans and sharp critiques of his political opponents.

Exuding confidence, Akpaloo declared, “God has ordained me as President of this country. On January 7, 2025, I will be sworn in as the president of Ghana.”

He recounted a vivid dream from March 10, 2010, where the Holy Spirit revealed his presidency.

“I trust God. If God says this is what He is going to do, who is a man to challenge Him?” he asked.

Quoting Hosea 4:6, Akpaloo expressed his intention to draw on biblical principles to transform Ghana’s economy, emphasizing the importance of knowledge.

“If you have all the natural resources but lack the knowledge to transform them, it will be useless,” he said.

Central to his vision is making education free at all levels, from primary school to university.

“When you acquire more knowledge, you become more productive and contribute to the nation’s development. Knowledge and vision work hand in hand, so I will invest in the people,” he stated.

Akpaloo indicated that he introduced his running mate, Elizabeth Sam, because of her passion for children and women’s development.

Underscoring his dedication to the youth and the future, he recommended, “We must do things differently to turn this country around and make it a better place.”

When asked about his chances in the upcoming elections, Akpaloo confidently declared, “I will win the election!”

When pressed on who he thought might win if he didn’t, he told host Julius Caesar Anadem, “Nana Kwame Bediako could be better, but he won’t win. Bawumia can do great, but he can’t win. John Mahama? He will destroy the country. Anyone who votes for him is wasting their time.”

Akpaloo extended his criticism of Mahama by berating the Kejetia Market project, describing it as a “total waste.”

He contended, “Mahama wasted the land. Anyone with a vision would have built a 20-story market instead. What is he coming back to do? He can’t transform the country.”
