The office of the Vice President has indicated that the vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, will not be present at the 7th edition of the Adonko RTP awards.
Reacting to an on-going advertisement on TV and radio claiming the Vice President will be present at this year’s awards, Director of Communications, Office of the Vice-President, Frank Agyei-Twum in a Facebook post, said , “The Vice President has nothing to do with the 2017 RTP awards and will not be present at the said ceremony.”
The event which will come off on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at the Accra International Conference has invited personalities which include former President John Dramani Mahama, Rev. Dr. Boadi Nyamekye (Founder and Leader of Makers House Chapel) and other dignitaries to grace the occasion.
The RTP Awards has over the years honoured radio and television Presenters across the country, and earned the accolade as the best organized event ever.
