Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has officially declared his intention to contest in the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) 2028 Presidential Primaries.
The outspoken politician and businessman made the announcement during a call-in to his media outlets, Net2 TV and Oman FM, on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, shortly after nominations were officially opened.
“What brings me the greatest joy is the overwhelming love and support pouring in from every corner of the country,” Mr Agyapong said, noting that encouragement has come from across age groups and professional sectors, including Members of Parliament. He added that some individuals have even offered to cover the cost of his nomination forms.
Describing his ambition as a “collective mission,” Mr Agyapong said his goal is to unite citizens across political and regional divides and build a country where every Ghanaian; young or old, rich or poor; has a fair shot at success.
“I am ready to listen to you and to lead with integrity and purpose,” he affirmed.
