Kumasi-based road contractor, Kofi Job Gyebi, has filed a lawsuit against Frank Kwaku Appiah, aka Appiah Stadium, at the Kumasi High Court for defamation.
The CEO of Kofi Job Company Limited is seeking damages of GHc 5 million for circulating video content that allegedly damaged his reputation and caused him embarrassment.
In the writ filed at the court, Kofi Job claims that Appiah Stadium’s false publication in a video published on social media including tick-tok has hurt his business and personal reputation.
He is demanding a retraction and apology from the defendant, in addition to legal costs.
Appiah Stadium, a serial caller affiliated with the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has been accused of spreading false information about Kofi Job’s road construction company.
The court case is set to unravel the truth behind the allegations, and Kofi Job is determined to clear his name and protect his business reputation.
This legal battle has sparked interest in the Kumasi community, with many following the case’s developments.
