The Volta Regional Youth wing of the NDC has welcomed the reshuffle of the leadership of the minority caucus in parliament.
A statement issued by the NDC youth wing in the volta region thanked the leadership of the NDC for taking “proactive and decisive steps to freshen and strengthen the NDC front in Parliament through leadership reshuffle.”
It thus urged the rank and file of the party to accept the new leadership changes effected in good faith and join hands with the new Minority Leadership in Parliament to hold the government accountable ahead of the 2024 elections.
“It is our utmost prayer and hope that the new leadership unites the NDC front in Parliament and brings new dynamism and energy to bear so as to build on the solid foundations laid by their predecessors,” said the Volta Regional Youth wing.
It also congratulated MP for Adaklu who is now elevated to the post of Minority Chief Whip.
“Your integrity, commitment and fidelity to the cause of the NDC is not in doubt and we are confident that individually and collectively you will succeed,” the statement added.
