Member of Parliament for Buem Constituency and Minister of Sports and Recreation, Hon. Kofi Adams, has thrown his weight to support the work of the Ghana Football Association.
At an event earlier today, which saw the GFA securing a broadcasting partnership with APL, the sports and recreation minister, Hon. Kofi Adams, reaffirmed his assurance and support to the Ghana Football Association.
Kofi Adams believes that if the FA is given the right support, it will enhance the growth of the sport.
“My ministry is always prepared and open to support your course,” he said.
Hon. Kofi Adam also revealed that the plan of his government, led by His Excellency, John Dramani Mahama, is to make the sporting industry very recreational, where we don’t only focus on talent but the economic aspect as well.
” The vision for the President is to ensure that sport moves beyond just talents to recreational, we believe that there is more to sports and as such, we need to put in all avenues to other to secure that” – he added.
Hon. Kofi Adams later encouraged cooperate individuals and bodies to invest more into sports for the betterment of the game.
