NEW YEAR MESSAGE FROM LAWYER SAMMY GYAMFI:

Warm season’s greetings and best wishes for a prosperous New Year from the National Communications Bureau of the great National Democratic Congress (NDC) to all members and sympathizers of the umbrella family.

We commenced 2024 with an unwavering resolve to bring about a transformative change for Ghana, our beloved country.

Through our collective efforts and earnest appeal to the Ghanaian populace, we sought their mandate to realize this vision.

By divine grace, the NDC received a double portion of that for which we prayed. Let us once again congratulate ourselves and rejoice in the Lord for this divine victory.

As we embrace 2025, we proclaim, “Ebenezer, thus far the Lord has brought us!”

On this first day of the new year, I wish to express, on behalf of the National Communication Bureau that I lead, heartfelt appreciation and honor to the following individuals.

Firstly, to my loyal and dedicated deputies, Maleek Basintale and Ako Gunn: your unwavering support and dynamism is highly commendable.

To my sixteen (16) industrious Regional Communication Officers and their deputies: your ingenuity and relentless efforts are deeply appreciated.

My sincere thanks to our gallant 276 Constituency Communication Officers, their abled deputies and Branch Communication Officers across the country. Comrades, as devoted foot soldiers, you disseminated our message of hope to every nook and cranny, ensuring a resounding victory for our party.

To the committed and diligent members of our National and Regional Communication Teams: your tireless and invaluable contributions will never be forgotten.

To the dedicated and hard-working members of our social media army, the narrative of our success is incomplete without acknowledging your daily toil and sacrifices towards our common cause.

To the members of the National Strategic Communication Committee: your strategic guidance and technical support have been extremely instrumental in how far we have come as a team.

I extend heartfelt appreciation to the National Chairman, General Secretary, Parliamentary Caucus and the entire leadership of the NDC for their support for the National Communications Bureau in all our endeavors.

To the President-elect, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, Sir, we are eternally grateful for your inspiration, fatherly guidance and sterling leadership that guided us to this historic victory.

To our mother and Ghana’s first female Vice President-elect, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, thank you for your support in numerous ways.

To our friends in media (both traditional and new), we thank you for providing us with your esteemed platforms to propagate our message of hope, which has been embraced by an overwhelming majority of Ghanaians. We look forward to strengthening our partnership as we work together to reset Ghana.

To our numerous benefactors: we value your support and generous contributions. May God richly bless you.

Finally, to our party Elders and Advisors: your timeless wisdom and guidance are deeply treasured.

May 2025 usher in glad tidings and the choicest of God’s blessings for all of us. Above all, may the Lord grant us a heart full of love for country and the grace to accomplish his purposes for our dear nation, even as he fulfills the desires of our heart.

Happy New Year to you all, comrades.

SAMMY GYAMFI ESQ.
NATIONAL COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER, NDC
