The National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) has extended financial support to traders who lost their shops and properties in the September 9, 2025, fire outbreak at the Sampa Market.
In a move aimed at restoring hope and helping victims rebuild their livelihoods, NEIP Chief Executive Officer, Eric Adjei, presented GH¢5,000 each to about 20 affected traders, amounting to GH¢100,000 in total.

Mr. Adjei explained that the intervention reflects NEIP’s commitment to supporting entrepreneurs and small business operators to recover from unforeseen challenges that threaten their businesses.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony, he expressed sympathy to the victims and assured them of continued support, emphasizing that entrepreneurship remains a key driver of national development.

The beneficiaries, in turn, expressed deep gratitude, describing the support as a major relief during a difficult period.
This intervention highlights NEIP’s compassion and dedication to sustaining businesses within the Jaman North District and across the country.
