A popular musician from Kwahu in the Eastern Region, Frederick Osei-Buabeng, popularly known in showbiz as Phada Gaza, was tragically stabbed to death at a ghetto in Nkawkaw on Saturday night, sending shockwaves through the local entertainment community.
The incident triggered chaos as angry fans of the late artiste stormed the Holy Family Hospital, where the suspect—believed to be responsible for the stabbing—was receiving treatment.
The enraged crowd attempted to lynch the suspect, but swift intervention by the police prevented further violence.
Phada Gaza was a rising star in the Eastern Region’s music scene, celebrated for his vibrant stage presence, relatable lyrics, and strong connection with the youth.
His music had earned him several local accolades, with many predicting his breakthrough onto the national stage in the near future.
