Ghana is on the verge of a significant milestone in its legal landscape with the publication and upcoming launch of what is being described as the country’s first comprehensive book on immigration law.

The 210-page book, authored by Wonder Victor Kutor (Esq.), provides an extensive catalogue of the due processes and general legal requirements governing immigration.

It offers detailed discussions on asylum law, the fundamentals of visa applications, immigration rules, application packaging, and the strategic considerations prospective applicants must bear in mind.

Mr. Kutor, a specialist in immigration law and a Board Member of the Volta River Authority, explained that his motivation for writing the book extends beyond sharing his professional expertise.

According to him, the publication is intended to serve as both a reference material and an educational resource for lawyers, non-lawyers and other actors who operate within the complex world of migration.

The book will be officially launched on March 13, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at the Ghana Shippers Authority.

The book is titled “Immigration Formulae: Rules, Packaging and Strategy “.

The foreword to the book was written by Prof. Dr. Larry A. DiMatteo, former Editor in Chief of the American Business Law Journal and His Lordship Justice Emmanuel Yonny Kulendi, Justice of the Supreme Court of Ghana.

The launch is expected to attract a distinguished audience drawn from academia, high-ranking government officials, members of the diplomatic corps, the clergy, the sports fraternity and members of the legal community.

The Launch will be chaired by His Lordship, Justice Emmanuel Yonny Kulendi, a Justice of the Supreme Court of Ghana.

A UK based Immigration and Asylum Practitioner, Lawyer Ransford Ekor shall serve as the Book Reviewer at the Launch.

The much-anticipated launch is expected to mark a defining moment in Ghana’s evolving immigration and legal framework, positioning the book as a foundational text for practitioners, scholars and individuals seeking clarity in immigration processes.
