The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has directed all its members to actively participate in the nationwide General Cleaning Exercise declared by the President, scheduled for Friday, July 10, and Saturday, July 11, 2026.
In a press release issued today from its headquarters in Accra, the NPP leadership emphasized the importance of environmental sanitation, civic responsibility, and national development.
A statement from the party which was signed by its General Secretary, Justin Frimpong Kodua urged members to demonstrate their commitment by taking part in the clean-up activities.
The directive comes ahead of the party’s Constituency Elections on Saturday, July 11, 2026.
The NPP scribe also called on members to participate in the cleaning exercise immediately after casting their ballots, as voting will be conducted on a walk-in basis.
“The Party calls on all members to demonstrate their unwavering commitment to environmental sanitation, civic responsibility, and national development through their active participation,” the statement read.
The two-day exercise forms part of broader national efforts to promote cleanliness and public health across Ghana.
