NPP’s track record despite global hardships is matchless – Chairman Inusah

Chairman Rasheed Inusah, a communications team member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has passionately defended the party’s track record, citing achievements that he believes set the NPP apart from the competition.

With few days to Ghana’s general election, Inusah made it clear that the NPP’s policies and developmental projects are more than just campaign promises but milestones that Ghanaians can already see and feel.

Acknowledging the economic challenges facing the country, Inusah stated, “People are saying there is hardship in town. No one is denying that.”

He however emphasized that Ghana is “blessed” with experts who possess the technical know-how to guide the country out of these difficulties, particularly under the leadership of the NPP.

“Despite the challenges we are facing, we must admit that the NPP has implemented so much that other nations going through similar crises have not been able to do,” he asserted.

Speaking on the Cup of Tea segment with Julius Ceasar Anadem on Ultimate FM, he pointed to the party’s commitment that restored teacher and nursing training allowances, an initiative that returned financial support to many Ghanaian households even amidst economic crisis.

Furthermore, he highlighted the Free Senior High School (SHS) policy, which has opened doors for countless Ghanaian youths.

“It is under this same hardship that the NPP government implemented free SHS education for every single Ghanaian in this country,” Inusah noted with pride.

One of the NPP’s flagship projects, Agenda 111, also took centre stage in the discussion. This ambitious initiative aims to construct 111 hospitals across the country; a first in Ghana’s history.

Inusah believes that such bold undertakings require capable hands to ensure they benefit all Ghanaians and do not become “white elephants.” He described the project as a testament to the leadership of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, whom he referred to as the “incoming president of Ghana.”

Inusah further expressed confidence in Dr. Bawumia’s vision, calling his policies crucial to Ghana’s future.

With a mix of optimism and prediction, he declared, “This year’s general elections will be a shock to everyone.”

He predicted that the opposition, the National Democratic Congress (NDC), would face a “massive shock” in the election results, while even the NPP would be surprised by the level of support from Ghanaians.

As the conversation concluded, Inusah left a bold message for the listeners: “Ghanaians will not make any mistake and give power to any other government than those who have initiated all these projects for the benefit of Ghanaians.”

His confident outlook underscored the NPP’s commitment to continue its efforts for national development, despite the prevailing economic difficulties.
