Ghanaian singer and songwriter, Queen eShun, has confirmed that she is returning fully to the music scene after a four-year period without releasing new songs.
Speaking on Starr Showbiz with Feeling Daddy on Starr 103.5 FM on Saturday, February 28, the artiste stated that music remains an essential part of her life and purpose.
“I am, I am. It is something that I cannot throw away. I have a very powerful gift that I am aware of, and I intend to use it, utilise it very well,” she said when asked if she was making a full comeback.
According to her, every song she has previously released marks “just the beginning,” adding, “Yes, I’m coming back into the scene.”
Although she has not released new music in about four years, Queen eShun maintained that she has remained active, noting that she still gets booked for shows.
Beyond music, she revealed that she is also running a construction supply company known as The Royal Aid. The company deals in construction materials, particularly waterproofing and chemical solutions used to address challenges such as leakages, dampness, and water damage in buildings.

Reflecting on how she sees the music space now, she said she expected changes over time.
“I think every day, there’s something new. I didn’t expect anything less. I knew that things would change… people evolve, and so I don’t expect anything to stay the same,” she noted.
She described the industry’s current pace as beautiful, adding that artistes are staying original while keeping up with trends. She mentioned acts such as Shatta Wale, Wendy Shay, Black Sherif, and KiDi as examples of musicians maintaining originality while adapting to new sounds.
On her career highlights, Queen eShun cited performing the National Anthem at the Bukom Arena before dignitaries as one of her most memorable moments.

She also referenced her collaboration with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), which gave her the opportunity to travel to Senegal and Switzerland and raise funds in Ghana on the issue of statelessness.
“I wrote a song on statelessness, and I would say that’s one of the highlights that I would forever cherish,” she said.
