Ghanaian lawyer and politician, and Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana GoldBod, Sammy Gyamfi, marked his 37th birthday with a series of visits and donations to health and social institutions in Accra.
He visited the Greater Accra Regional Hospital (popularly known as Ridge Hospital), the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital (Department of Child Health), the Osu Children’s Home, and the Dzorwulu Special School as part of the celebration.

At the hospitals, he indicated that his visit was to engage with management, identify some of their needs, and offer support.
At the Osu Children’s Home, he donated food items including bags of rice, beverages, and other items, while also spending time interacting with the children.

At the Dzorwulu Special School, he engaged with the pupils, exchanged pleasantries, and danced with the children alongside his team. He also donated food items such as rice, beverages, and other supplies.
Addressing the school, Mr. Gyamfi said his birthday celebration would not have been complete without the visit.
“Yesterday was my 37th birthday… I knew that my birthday celebration would not be complete until and unless I come to the Dzorwulu Special School… I knew that coming here to celebrate with you, and to share in the joy of the occasion with you, and to bless you, even as I have been blessed by God, will make my 37th birthday complete,” he said.

He further noted that his team had brought food items and other goodies, adding that additional support, including a school bus, would be provided.
“We came with a lot of foodstuffs, we came with a lot of goodies. This week, we will come and donate a school bus,” he added.
