SETHI REALTY Ghana Limited, developer of the Nyame Dua City eco-friendly affordable housing project, has signed a major housing marketing and promotion deal with Remax Ghana, a real estate agency.
In the agreement signed at a short ceremony on Thursday at Kpone, Sethi Realty is to serve as the developer, providing housing facilities with materials in best use, while Remax Distinctive, a subsidiary of Remax Ghana, is to play the role of a broker, with the responsibility of promoting and marketing Sethi Realty’s plush but affordable apartments at the Nyamedua City located at Kpone in the Greater Accra Region.
The term of the agreement is indefinite and Remax Distinctive is to earn a commission at a rate of 6 percent on each brokerage it makes.
Chief Executive Officer of Sethi Realty, Godwin Adjei-Gyamfi signed the deal on behalf of his company while Yaw Kwakye, Director of Regional Franchise Operations, Remax Ghana, signed for his outfit.
Mr. Adjei-Gyamfi, a renowned lawyer, expressed satisfaction that the agreement between both companies was in the right direction, hoping that the two entities can leverage on their long years of experiences in the housing sector to render excellent services to home buyers in Ghana.
Nyame Dua City Apartments which are about 240 in number, are regarded by industry experts as the first master planned community in Ghana.
Strategically located a few minutes’ drive from the Tema motorway roundabout in a fast developing neighbourhood, it is an integrated community with various infrastructure and social amenities.
Remax Ghana which commenced operations about two years ago is a subsidiary of Remax USA, a leading global estate agency. Remax has about 7,500 branches in 105 countries with 1,000 agents.
Mr. Kwakye told the media that in 2016 alone, Remax had 77 million traffic to its website worldwide.
